Moving and Kicking!

Almost to the 20 Week mark! 

I have been enjoying my pregnancy and Lucias movements and tiny kicks! I love feeling her! 

So Im Finally showing a belly and loving the feeling of looking like a prego lady! 

This past weekend i had a chance to take a Romantic get away to see Martin. It was so nice to spend time with him. We had sushi and waffles and stayed in and ordered pizza! It felt like not a day had gone by. He also got to feel Lucia move around and Kick him! I think he felt a connection with her then cause his eyes welled up with tears of happiness. We seriously cannot wait for her arrival and to be a MEXICAN family!

Leaving him was bittersweet but the great news is that he comes home in a week from tomorrow! My heart is counting the hours and minutes until i see him again!

Last week i got to meet my new OBGYN! hes great and im so excited about him helping us through this journey! i can't wait! He also did a courtesy ultrasound and confirmed that it is a GIRL! Whats even more exciting is that Martin will be home for the Detailed Ultrasound! finally he will be here for appointments. 

Im so in love with the fact of becoming a mommy and awaiting my husbands return! I feel the most happy right now in my pregnancy then i have before. Helping my sisters plan my Babyshower gets me giddy too!

Thank god for the warm weather! Yay to summer dresses and skirts!

South Carolina Trip/15 Weeks!

Thank you God for taking me safely to the Other side of the Country and back!

I got to See the love of my life Martin! it was the best feeling in the whole world. I am so Proud of him and Glad that one of the toughest parts are over! He finsished basic training and is now at AIT to continue the rest of his duties! We got even better news! his AIT was 9 weeks but they shrunk it down to 6weeks! so my Hubby gets to see Audrey grow sooner!
Our Trip went well and i really enjoyed the Plane ride! it was alot of Fun! i want to go on another one again!
Columbia, which was where we stayed looks exactly like Perris and Lake Elsinore put together but with alot more trees! I Loved to Listen to their Accents!

When i told Martin that we are Having a girl he was like " what, really? a little baby girl? thats awesome!" Hes over the moon now about the whole thing! He wants to buy her a fish and have a tea party with her now. Hes is going to be the BEST father to her! im so lucky!We bought her a little army girl shirt!

So Martin was able to come out the 2nd day after he Graduated. He wanted a Burger so we went to Five Guys and he enjoyed his huge Cheese Burger! Hes is glad to be out of Fort Jackson and

So we were so happy to be together again! when he kissed me i had fireworks inside me just like the first time he kissed me almost 5 years ago. Im so Happy for him and i can't wait for his arrival Home. and we are very happy to start our family with a Little baby girl! I couldn't ask for anything else in life. God truly picked the best one out there for me!

Audrey Lucia Mendoza 13 weeks

Its A Girl!

Im very happy to share the news with all of you! Shes growing fast too! Yesterday i went to an Ultrasound Place in OC with my Sister Joanna and Annaruth and Audrey was not shy to show us what she is! I started crying when i found out because the only thing that went through my mind was wishing Martin was here. I know he will be happy to have her. Im sure she will be Daddys little girl and eat lots of Pizza with him! My Whole family was together yesterday so it was the best occasion to find out the gender! Of course they are all ecstatic! Joanna and Annaruth are already saving their pennys for the Baby Shower! Martins mom is Very happy too! i think she wanted a girl granddaughter!

Well im almost finishing my 13th week going on to my 14th! Yay! 2nd trimester here i come! Im still nauseous and can only eat limited things but for some reason Audrey wanted Panda Express! ha! so im pigging out! Im also feeling great! Very happy and excited to leave to South Carolina to be with Martin for a few days!

My Appointment on Monday with the OB went good! My Parents went with me and got to hear the baby's Heartbeat! I loved see their reaction they were so excited i think i even saw my moms eye tear up. Knowing that they can't wait to meet the baby is a great feeling, the Baby was really low in my abdomen, like low! Its heart sounded like a choo choo train!
There are myths that if the baby is low then you will have a Girl. If its high up in the tummy then it will be a boy. Lets see if they are true. 2 more months till i get to find out what the gender is going to be.
One down thing to my appointment was that i had lost 4lbs. and the Dr. wants me to gain more weight! so im really trying but i barely have any appetite. i can usually only take oatmeal, fruit and veggies. so im really trying here so we will see in 4 weeks.
I got Letters from martin today and hes very excited for the Baby! Just less then 2 weeks and we get to see eachother again! Hopefully my belly gets a little bigger by then and that the heart beat is stronger!

12 Weeks and Growing!

Im 12 weeks! Pretty much 3 months. people say its flying by but it feels like its taking a lot longer. Im excited cause tomorrow i have my OB appointment and im hoping for a ultrasound pic so i can send it to Martin. I've been feeling a little sick mostly when i smell red meat being cooked. But still just sticking to Veggies, Fruits and Yogurt. Im Also looking forward to asking the Dr. questions about how the past 4 weeks have gone too.   
I got to talk to Martin today. i got answers to Questions i've had for a while. He misses everyone and is hoping to get his phone later this week if his platoon is good. I really miss him, its a terrible feeling i cannot describe. But im trying to be strong, strong for our family.

Then my mom said my baby needed sun so we crocheted outside while i enjoyed some fresh OJ. Im Lucky to have the parents i have. My Baby is lucky to have Grandparents so creative and full of love to give. i can't wait to bring it in to this world and have it enjoy all the things that i did!
I know that what i feel the baby feels, but i want to try and step it up and relax. Im going to try and Crochet more and enjoy the little things in life like today. It is hard not having Martin but im blessed to have Friends and Family around me that want happiness for me and the baby!

11 Weeks!

Im enjoying being pampered by my family! im milking it! hehehe
Yesterday after having a long day at work i saw my sister and dad at Costco. They invited me over to the house to eat. Its was great cause my dad fixed me a Turkey sandwich with fruit and vegies too! Then my mom offered to massage my feet, then my dad brought me a hot chocolate and mexican bread! I am so very blessed with the family i have.
So my tummy is getting harder! yay! and 3 more weeks until i see Martin!Hopefully i get a little more of a bump by then. Knowing that i am going to see him is helping me through the ups and downs of pregnancy. Its hard when you need the support from your partner and they aren't there to answer you. I have my down days of missing him but im also very glad that God has my Parents very close to me to help me through it. For the time im just taking it day by day and breathing! Also i am at lost of breaths at times! why? i may need more exercise! Im thinking of getting a bike. who wants to ride with me?
Martin gets his phone this Sunday so it will be nice to hear him and talk to him instead of waiting for mail to come!just 5 more days!!!!!!!!!

Our First Blog!

Tomorrow im going to be 11 Weeks Pregnant. Im so excited because im finally starting to show.
I'm absolutely thrilled about this Baby! One thing i really need to work on is taking it slow at work. I stretched my stomach too much and now i have like a knot feeling on my lower abdomen.
I also haven't been able to sleep. Not being able to sleep on your stomach is hard to do! i tried two pillows and that didn't work. Then tried a body pillow and nope worse!
Im tempted to go start my registry at baby's r us, but maybe waiting until i know the Gender of the baby could help too!
At First i thought i wanted a Girl. but now i really don't care! Because to think of it Boy or Girl this Baby is Pieces of me and Martin. That alone is the greatest gift and Surprise so far!

Tonight im going out to have a girls night and have a delicious dinner now that all of my nausea is gone!!!!!!
